24 Hour Access Line /Crisis Team

A staff of trained and licensed mental health professionals who may provide mental health assessment and crisis intervention services for emergency and urgent conditions. They may provide mobile response to requests from emergency rooms, hospital and skilled nursing homes throughout Ventura County. The service is available to anyone in Ventura County with a serious mental health crisis by calling 805-477-5727, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Referrals for non-emergency services may also be obtained by calling 800-671-0887, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Days and Hours of Operation: 24-hour mobile service available on request from hospitals, emergency rooms and skilled nursing facilities. 24-hour telephone crisis counseling.

Method of Payment and Fees: Sliding scale, Medi-Cal and other types of payment. How Referred to the Program: Self, family members, emergency room staff, other health care providers, Law Enforcement.
